Two New pieces from my " Organic Rod & Wood " Series.

The wood used in these two wall hangings was cut and sawn close to the turn of the century in the forest near Black River Falls. It was use in the construction of a rough building somewhere in the downtown area, maybe used as a buggy shed or garage. At some point it was moved to higher ground in the Brockway area where a Pileated-woodpecker made his attack. In 2010 I was able to save a little over 2 tons of lumber from the landfill by dismantling the whole building and reusing about 60% of the original materials
